* ART is a nine-week course designed to help students explore creativity and appreciation through hands on learning with emphasis on PRACTICAL application
* Art classes follow the Deer Valley School District and Arizona Visual Arts State Standards (see links for details)
* All students have the opportunity of experiencing an art class
(7th grade: ArtI, 8th grade: Art II)
unless limited by enrollment in a year-long exploratory class
* Art I (7th grade) will reinforce the K-6 art curriculum, and introduce some new concepts and techniques
* Art II (8th grade) will reinforce the 7th grade art curriculum and introduce new concepts and techniques
